University of Cahaya Surya has been officially established on August 26, 2025, through the merger of Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Cahaya Surya and Politeknik Cahaya Surya. The inauguration was marked by the handover of the official decree from LLDIKTI Region VII East Java, held at Hotel Grand Surya Kediri.
